We take our leftover latex rubber from our natural mattresses and shred it to make a wonderful filling for organic cotton pillows. Shredded rubber has some give, is easy to move around, and offers a pillow that conforms to your head and neck. Our customers love the machine wash/dry capability of this pillow.
We carefully chose our natural latex so that it has no synthetics in it, most manufacturers buy a mixed lot and have synthetics.
Down side is that it is a heavier weight pillow.
This is our zip version so you can manage exactly the amount of fill. And when washing you can remove the filling and wash cover thoroughly.
We ship these with the shredded latex in a poyethylene bag and cover separate so customer can machine wash and dry outer before first use.
We make ours with a sturdy but pliable damask outer to make it durable through many years of washings. Mine have lasted me 18 years so far.
Even better, natural latex resists mold, bacteria, bed bugs and dust mites.
We make sure our workers do not have any fragrance residue on their bodies, no chemicals. We want total purity.
